4-H is an organization dedicated to young people. The purpose of the 4-H program is to prepare young people for their future, giving them an opportunity to learn how to become productive, self assured adult citizens who can make their community a good place to work and live. This is fostered through project and program work, experiences with fellow member and leaders, and participation in district, regional, provincial and national programs.

The Kamloops District 4-H Senior Council represents 14 4-H clubs from Clearwater, BC to Knutsford, BC to Westwold, BC to Ashcroft, BC and communities in between. The council consists of current and past leaders, past members and community members who have a passion for the 4-H program.
